I was drawn to human rights because I’ve always been deeply disturbed by
injustice; especially when it hides in plain sight within laws and systems that claim to serve everyone. Working in this field allows me to use my legal background not just as a tool of regulation, but as a means of restoration and protection. As a legal associate, I find purpose in contributing to efforts that reflect the lived realities of marginalized communities, particularly in the Caribbean. I see this work as a form of solidarity and responsibility.
