WHO WE ARE
The Caribbean Centre for Human Rights (CCHR) is an
independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization based
in Trinidad and Tobago. Since our founding in 2006, we have
been dedicated to the promotion and protection of human
rights across the Caribbean through advocacy, legal reform,
education, and strategic litigation.

Our Mission
To protect and promote human rights across the Caribbean through legal interventions, public education, and community engagement, ensuring justice, dignity, and equality for all.
CCHR has since evolved into a regional leader in human rights advocacy, with a team of experts driving impact in criminal justice
reform, migrant and refugee protection, and constitutional law. We have provided legal aid to thousands, built partnerships with
international bodies like the UNHCR, and actively pushed for the revision of outdated laws that perpetuate inequality and
injustice.

Our Vision
A Caribbean region where every individual enjoys full access to justice, equality, and human dignity, free from discrimination, marginalization, and violence.
